Like its predecessor, "The Siffleur Montagne Chorale", La Jeune Etoile Chorale brings together
a rare mixture of the traditional and the current, the serene and the vibrant,
found in such abundance in Dominica's rich folk music.
Started in 1971, the 25 strong group (all scouts and girl guides)
sought to capture the mood of Dominica songs. You will enjoy their infectious enthusiasm and the
uninhibited delivery of their songs on this CD that came from a phonograph album. The cover of this album was designed by a Dominica cultural icon, Doctor Alwin Bully.
