WCK-One of Dominica's hottest bands.They started back in 1988 and recorded
their first album,'Mopsy-One More Sway' in 1989. Their name 'WCK'came from the first names
of the original members, "W" from "Wackers",their first guitarist and Wayne McLawrence who played lead guitar, ("CK")from Derick Peters and Cornell Phillip and "K"-Keith Goddard on Bass. Derick 'Rah' Peters who used to play drums is now with Raw Riddeems International. Cornell Phillip plays Keyboards,and rhythm programming while Cornell's brother, Irvine Phillip who plays keyboards,helps in studio production and background vocals.WCK recorded two more albums,'Culture Shock' in 1990 and 'Follow the Leader' in 1991, before Wayne left the group.From 1992 to 2003 they have recorded twelve more albums including the CD released for CARNIVAL 2002 called "ON TOP", and the 2003 CD,"MORE MUSIC".

WCK,which now stands for Windward Caribbean Kulture, have toured, the US and the UK regularly, is growing more popular. AS THE BAND SAYETH--"WE WE WILL BE ROCKIN YOU, JAMMING YOU IN DE BOUYON STYLE!! In the Year 2000,The WCK Band had grown to include new members Clint Henderson, Dennison "Dice" Joseph,Nigel and Pellam John Baptiste, Martindale Olive,Wayne "Skinny Banton" Robinson and Manager Emile DePooter of the Depex Company. "WE ARE STILL TOGETHER!! NO CK-NO KARNAVAL!! CHECK US OUT FOR THE YEAR 2004,THE NEW YEAR!
(In 2004-DICE has won the Calypso Monarch title.
Niegel(Nayee) and Skinny Banton are no longer with WCK. Emile Depooter is no longer the Manager.)
