Machel Montano who started in 1984/85 with his "Ah Too Young to Soca" and later sang with his band, Pranasonic Express(who appear at the South Queens Roy Wilkins Park in July 1989-captured on video by Sensay),shows how he has matured into a good Soca and Calypso Artist. His 1997 Road March,"Big Truck", with his band, XTATIK, signified his stature as a compelling force to be reckoned with. Tracks like "Its Carnival" with Destra Garcia, "Fireman" with Wanskie, Onyan & Peter C will have you in the Carnival mood. Big Truck days are back with "chunes" like "Powder Puff" and "Madman".
