Vintage Ron Berridge Volume 1 captures the Calypso music Era from the early 60's to the end of the decade as the band that backed veteran Calypsonians like Sparrow and Kitch brings back memories of the Latin,Jazz Calypso music scene. Songs all digitally remastered include "Archie Buck them up", "Mr. Walker","Jane","Melda","My Brother Your Sister" among others. This music has been digitally mastered from old records and tapes with sound restoration engineered and mastered by Tom Ferrin in collaboration with Ron and Clem Berridge.
The band later evolved into Sparrow's Troubadours when Ron and Clem Berridge left Trinidad for the USA.Among the players were Roy Cape,Conrad Little and Ulric (Ricky) Sobian.
