DOMINICA CALYPSO MONARCH FINALS 2006 captured live on DVD.This Calypso competition was a very tight and close contest that exhibited some of the greatest calypso talent in the Caribbean today. The Dice emerged the winner with two classic songs, "These Are The Days" and "I ain Fraid of Them". Lady Tarina placed second with fine lyrics written by Tim Durand,while The Hunter came in Third. Other remarkable contestants included Booplay with the Road March tune "Real Pirates of the Caribbean" that tied with Dice's "Ain Fraid" on the road. The others were Picky with "Resurrection",Karessah with "We Go See"and "Waitu Kubuli",Daddy Chess,The Oracle,Sye with a splendid tribute to "King Spider" dressed as Spider-man
and the Observer.
